We are Youth for Peace, a movement linked to the Community of Sant’Egidio. We are young people located across the world who are working to improve our cities and schools, by spreading a culture of peace and solidarity beginning from the poor, children, elderly, and those who are alone without a home.
In response to this world full of complications and suffering, we are committed to addressing issues that are often overlooked in our cities: poverty, wars, love, and the extraordinary capacity that everyone has to help others. We understand that we are truly happy only when we have the courage to believe in our dreams and to work together towards designing a better world.
